D&S Resources is currently seeking Driller's Offsider for ongoing opportunities with one of our key clients to work across a range of established mining operations throughout Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mobilising the rig from one set-up to another
  • Handling core - removing from tube, placing in core boxes and labelling box
  • Handling drilling rods and core tubes
  • Mixing drill fluid additives
  • Cleaning equipment and keeping work area clean
  • Assisting with equipment maintenance and repairs.

Requirements

  • White Card, with Working at Heights, Confined Space and Gas Testing tickets(or willing to obtain)
  • First Aid and CPR certification, current mine-site inductions may be required.
  • C-Class Driver’s Licence and relevant drilling/off-sider competency.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening, and meet site-specific safety requirements
  • Reliable, safety focused and comfortable working 10–12 hour days
  • Valid Working Rights in Australia preferred.
