D&S Resources is looking for skilled and versatile Blast Crew to contribute to both existing and new gold projects across the Goldfields and Mid-west WA regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dipping, priming, loading, stemming, and tie-in of blast patterns
  • Safe use, storage, security, transport, and handling of explosives
  • Operating ancillary equipment such as stemming loaders
  • Working collaboratively with the crew to achieve daily targets

Requirements

  • Standard 11 or willing to obtain one
  • Statement of Attainments for explosive handling or relevant RIIs e.g. RIIBLA201E – Support Shotfiring Operations
  • Valid QLD Explosives Security Clearance Card
  • Able to pass pre-employment checks including medical, drug and alcohol and background check
  • Rights to work in Australia and based in Perth, WA(Preferred)
  • Heavy Rigid (or greater) driver licence(Preferred)
  • Other Necessary Valid Tickets(Qualifications) or Willing to obtain.
