Working closely with operational teams and mining contractors, you will help deliver safe, efficient and practical mining outcomes that support the achievement of production targets. This role is ideally suited to a Mining Engineer with at least one year of post graduate experience who is looking to build on their underground mining knowledge and develop their career within a dynamic and expanding operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and optimisation of short and medium term mine plans.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules and forecasts.
  • Prepare practical underground mine designs and planning documentation.
  • Support budgeting, reporting and life of mine planning activities.
  • Collaborate with Geology, Survey and Technical Services teams to deliver integrated mining outcomes.
  • Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering.
  • Minimum one year of experience following completion of a Graduate Mining Engineer program.
  • Exposure to mine planning, scheduling and production engineering activities.
  • Current C-Class Driver's Licence (HR licence advantageous).
  • Necessary Valid Tickets(Qualifications) or Willing to obtain.
