D&S Resources is currently seeking motivated and reliable Trade Assistants to join our team supporting maintenance, shutdowns, installations and project work across major surface mining operations.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing FIFO work with a respected family-owned company that values safety, teamwork and long-term development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting trades people with mechanical, maintenance and repair work
  • Assembly and disassembly of equipment and components
  • Site setup, surface preparation, tool staging, and general housekeeping.
  • General workshop and industrial Trade Assistant duties
  • Strictly adhering to site safety standards, JSEAs, and take-5 risk assessments.

Requirements

  • Previous Trade Assistant, Mechanical TA or similar industrial/workshop experience preferred
  • White Card
  • High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL) with valid WP (Elevating Work Platform) and LF (Forklift Truck) endorsements.
  • Current C-Class Driver's Licence (HR licence advantageous).
  • Mechanically minded and confident using hand and power tools
  • Reliable, safety focused and comfortable working 10–12 hour days
  • Other Necessary Valid Tickets(Qualifications) or Willing to obtain.
